Over 60% of households live in substandard housing.
Housing poverty is a major social injustice in Vanuatu. Habitat for Humanity Vanuatu empowers people through programmes that build homes without profit or interest, while teaching men, women and young people marketable job skills, and helping to build stronger communities.
